    BOOK 2… What next?

By Claudia | Extracts, Get to know, The Love Detective: Next Level | 0 comment | 9 September, 2019 | 0

Clarry Pennhaligan enjoys her job as a waitress and it pays the bills… well, just about. Allowing herself to drift along, she doesn’t get too hung up on introspection. In fact, she actively avoids it. Agonising over her life isn’t Clarry’s style.

“What good comes of asking yourself a lot of uncomfortable questions and brooding over your failings?”

But she’s always felt that there must be something more out there for her. And she’s right. When we first meet Clarry in Book 1, she’s just taken on a new role as an amateur detective. She discovers that it suits her. It’s both terrifying and exciting with just the right amount of crazy thrown in. And whilst she couldn’t claim to be exactly good at it… she certainly messes up along the way… she gets results.

So, what’s next for Clarry Pennhaligan? Will she take on a new investigation? Crack a new case? Not being one of life’s natural planners, she decides to leave it to chance.

“I have my waitressing shifts and still some slack on my credit cards and as for landing my next assignment, well, something will no doubt turn up.”

Something does. And much sooner than she expected. Find out what that is in The Love Detective: NEXT LEVEL.
