    Kind words from lovely Facebookers

    By Claudia | The Love Detective | 0 comment | 30 April, 2019 | 0

It’s always so so lovely hearing from people who have enjoyed The Love Detective! Especially those I’ve had the pleasure of meeting at my book signings. Lately, several wonderful ladies have shared their thoughts on my Facebook page – so I thought I’d share them with you…

“What a great read! Thank you so much for writing this book Angela. It has been the perfect holiday book, and so different from many others. I really engaged within Clarry, she’s a good character. My husband bought this for me when you were at Waterstones, Hemel Hempstead. Looking forward to the next Clarry Pennhaligan book now x”

    Helen Olley

“I bought The Loge Detective whilst in Richmond and met Angela whilst on her book tour, I have found it a great summer read loved the Clarry character and all her getting into fixes whilst she tries her hand at being a detective. I couldn’t wait to pick it up each time, the sign of a good read. Can’t wait for the next one.”

    Linda Waddicar

“I actually bought The Love Detective on a whim when I met this author at a bookstore signing a few weeks ago. Her enthusiasm made me want to take a peek into her creativity so I bought the book to take away on holiday with me. I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. Whilst the main characters are still developing they were interesting and I wanted to get to know them better.. so I am grateful there are more books in the pipeline. The story is fun.. having said that, it touches on some serious topics and you can feel real empathy for the situations Clarry finds herself in.. yet still giggle at Flan’s antics. I can’t wait to read Book 2!”

My daughter really enjoyed this book, shes 11 and just at that age where encouraging them to explore different genres can be a challenge! She thoroughly enjoyed this book and once she started it couldn’t put it down. ‘The Love Detective’ has opened up a whole new genre for my little book worm – Thankyou Angela

Met the lovely Angela Dyson today. Now sat in the garden, kids in the pool, with a cheeky glass of Pimms reading The Love Detective. Now this is summer!

“Loving your book, it’s keeping me occupied whilst I wait for my boyfriend to finish work ?”
